        Just stopped by, and was delighted to find (after circling the block 25 times and paying for parking) that they don't exist anymore. I get a business closing, but please update your Google info so people don't drive all the way up here for nothing.

        Such a great shop! Went in looking for some metal pieces for a custom design (I have no jewelry-making experience), and the owner not only walked me through finding what I was looking for, but then created the earring! She did a MUCH better job than I would have! Lol. Will definitely be returning.

      Praha® Beads and Jewelry

      Designed as a relaxing European retreat, Praha Beads and Jewelry is a small "bead boutique" located 1 1/2 blocks South of King Street and the Potomac River. We specialize in carrying partial and full strand AAA semi-precious gemstones and freshwater pearls. Many are sold per bead. We also carry a wonderful selection of handmade glass beads from all over the world, including Venice, Italy. The boutique also carries the Praha Jewelry Design line of handcrafted jewelry. Weekly classes are offered for beginner jewelry makers.We offer a range of "Choose Your Own Backing" earrings--earrings already designed, but for more personalization, YOU can choose the backing that you prefer!
