Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Vienna/Tysons Corner

Nope.This hotel charged my credit card for another guest's stay resulting in $600+ of fraudulent credit card charges. I'd made reservations for this hotel without much review but after checking their Yelp reviews I cancelled my reservations and made other arrangements. End of story right?A month later I see a charge for the hotel I never stayed in. The credit card company cleared the charges to my relief.Don't take the risk!

Seemed shady based on the area, the staff was dressed in street clothes and sleep when we tried top check out told my husband to just throw key card in the jar. A lot of people outside walking around at night didn't feel safe Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 2/5 | Location : 1/5 More

BEWARE!! This hotel does NOT honor confirmed bookings! I booked this hotel 24 hours ahead with a prepaid, credit card reservation. I booked a suite for my family of 6. When we arrived after a long day on the road at about 10PM, we were informed by the front desk that they had sold our room to a walk in. I found out later that this hotel oversells their rooms so that they can still charge you if you no show with your prepaid bookings. I asked about their walking policy (where they honor your booking by providing a booking at another hotel), but was laughed at. I asked if they had regular, non suite rooms available. He said yes. I asked to be put into 2 single rooms to make up for our 2 bedroom suite not being available, he said he couldnt do that (I suspect he was hoping to fill those rooms with more walk-ins to profit even more). I had to eventually leave and find my own room at another hotel an hour away with tired crying children. I had to do a credit card chargeback to get my money back because they didnt refund as promised. Will never book this brand again.

Thus place is MAGICAL! I walked in and thought I was walking into a house! Refrigerator, check, sink, check, dishes, check, stove, check, microwave, check. HUGE bedroom, check, bathroom, check,.....and an UPSTAIRS!!! Plus a balcony over looking the living room and 2nd bathroom! Imma become a gold member!

Do NOT stay here, the hotel is great but they kept charging my card fees that didnt add up to the incidentals or room cost. The day I left the incidentals went back onto my card and 3 days later I had a random charge of $279 that didnt add up to anything to do with my stay. Be careful if you do stay, make sure to check your account daily.
