Extremely unprofessional, their receptionist only takes sit down prep, you cant even talk to someone who has accounting knowledge, advice to the owner, if you want to have a better review, have someone else to take your call

The service for the 2022 tax season was terrible. We started the process of filling the taxes with them in early March and without any prior communication they completely and unilaterally filled an extension and failed to do their job. The only email we received was a mass email to all the customers the following, I quote: "PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST AN UPDATE ON YOUR STATUS AS THIS WILL ONLY TAKE AWAY MY TIME TO PREPARE RETURNS." Upper case and everything. Extremely unprofessional.

Original 1 star review: Darren missed something when filing my 2021 taxes because I live in a different state now. He said it was no problem and that he would resolve the issue. That was in April and I have yet to hear from him since despite my many attempts to contact him. Extremely unprofessional behavior to ghost a paying client. I have no idea if my taxes were ever properly completed.
Follow up: After I posted my 1 star review Darren reached out and resolved the problem in a timely matter.

I highly recommend Darren and Acade Tax Services! Making an appointment online was super easy and he had plenty of appointments available. The appointment itself was quick and easy and he explained everything to me. When I had made a mistake with a past return, he even helped me to amend it! The office is nice and in a great location. Overall, I would say you can't go wrong with Darren and Acade Tax Services!
