I'm forever grateful to have found Dr. Arrieta! Before seeing him, I was trapped in a cycle of debilitating symptoms that had taken over my life. I was overcome by episodes of seemingly bizarre neuro symptoms, including brain fog, constant migraines, speech difficulties, movement issues, and never-ending pain in my neck, back, and shoulders due to muscle tension. I felt like a prisoner in my own body, losing my independence and freedom to live a normal life. But then I met Dr. Arrieta, and everything changed. He listened attentively, believed me, and took my symptoms seriously. With his expertise and compassionate care, I'm slowly getting my life back. My symptoms have greatly improved - they occur less often and are not as severe. I'm regaining my independence, and it's a incredible feeling! What sets Dr. Arrieta apart is his genuine concern for his patients' well-being. He takes the time to understand how my condition affects my daily life and offers personalized guidance to navigate the ups and downs. His office manager, Tabby, is equally supportive and helpful. If you're struggling like I was, please know that there is hope. Dr. Arrieta is a beacon of light in the darkness. He's a skilled, empathetic, and dedicated doctor who truly cares. I can't recommend him enough!

I got disabled working as a nurse during the pandemic. Chronic fatigue, chronic shortness of breath, brain fog, neuropathy in my feet, tinnitus, vision disturbances, balance instability, and multiple bedbound days every week. Before I came here, two cardiologists said my problem was period cramps in your chest, my neurologist said theres nothing I can do, and other doctors just didnt believe me. Then. Dr. Arrieta immediately believed me, diagnosed me, and is treating me. He is a genius - and one of the kindest people I have ever met. Ive only been going for three months, but weve already fixed so many things - I almost never have bedbound days anymore and my quality of life is so much better - and treatment is ongoing! You want someone who will care about you, listen to you, and believe you? Dr. Arrieta. You want someone who will actually find out whats wrong with you? Dr. Arrieta. You want to get better? Dr. Arrieta. He is giving me back my quality of life when everyone else said there was nothing they could do.

Since I was 21, seven years ago, I started having non-epileptic seizures, tics, severe fatigue, insomnia, brain fog, and problems walking. When I first got sick, I was working at a nursing home as a nurse. My life was good, I didnt have any problems. I was a normal human being and unfortunately I started having 30 seizures a day, blackouts, and unfortunately I had to stop doing what I love to do, which was take care of people. I saw countless doctors, including neurologists, psychiatrist, psychologist, therapists, went to countless ERs and had different tests performed, such as MRIs, CT scans, EEGs and took countless medications that never worked for me and actually the medication made me worse. I was diagnosed with conversion disorder which changed to fnd. I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and ptsd, all the while doctors would just label me with something and then send me to another doctor, where I would have to start all over. I had my life taken away. 7 years of fighting with doctors and myself I just gave up. Doing my best to work through this condition and all the while trying to stay sane. I was looking through and doing my own research concerning FND when I came across Dr. Arrietas office and name. I read the reviews and talked to my family about talking to him. We decided to try because at the end of the day I was loosing hope on ever being able to work again. I contacted Dr. Arrieta and spoke with the office manager. She was very sweet and cordial and we spoke multiple times a week for hours about what I had been through and what I was going through. For the first time since I got sick I felt like someone from the medical field was actually listening to me and I was relieved. It was like a weight was lifting off my shoulders for the first time in seven years. I decided to take the chance and see Dr. Arrieta. For my new patient visit he was fantastic he asked me about my history, my symptoms, did multiple neurological tests on me and made sure that I was comfortable and not to tired to do them. He was able to break down the material so that I could fully comprehend what was going on. Once he told me what was happening to me and what was the cause of my seizures and everything that followed he created a plan to help me get better. I decided with the help of my family to do a one week intensive care with him. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that I was understanding everything that was happening. During my treatment he was able to stop and bring me out of seizures when they tried to happen and explain to me why certain exercises or actions that I did caused them. I have been continuing to see him for three months going onto four. My seizures have been slowly coming to a stop. Actually in all honesty I almost forget Im sick until I overdo it and I dont realize it until I get sick. But then I just do as he has taught me and using those exercises helps to ground me. Due to my mistreatment caused my doctors I lacked faith these days, but since I have started seeing Dr. Arrieta I have faith and hope and Im the happiest Ive been in 7 years and its all thanks to the people in this office.

I came to see Dr. Arrieta in late August of 2021 while attending grad school for ataxia of unknown cause. In February 2022 I learned I had a type of neurodegenerative ataxia. Even before we knew the "why" Dr. Arrieta was the first doctor to give practical help in standing and walking and generally coordinating myself. He has given me tools and programs to work at home which have sustained me through graduate school. My neurologist is very pleased with the work Dr. Arrieta has given me and we believe it is postponing some of the degeneration as I am standing proof. Benjamin Bisgrove, age 25
