I went into Honeycreeper chocolates not realizing that they cohabitate with this clothing store as well. A few pieces on their sale rack caught my eye out front, but nothing that made me want to purchase anything. I did not interact with the staff, but the main reason I knocked off one star is based on the pricing this store utilizes. I understand and appreciate the goals and ideals of sustainability that basic. is trying to promote. However, I feel that $630 for a sweater dress is not the answer to promote sustainable fashion. The owners informed me that there is a section of used clothing in the back of the store starting at $10, which I think it very smart. I will have to go back and check it out!

a perfect place! basic. offers beautiful, thoughtful pieces. Their selection ranges from relaxed to elegant clothing. They offer styling and rental options! I highly recommend checking out basic!! Bonus: they are in the same space as Honeycreeper chocolate

basic is the best! I ordered a blouse from them while the shop was closed, and its beautiful! I accidentally selected shop pick up, and they were kind enough to deliver locally. The best customer service around and the kindest owner and staff. In addition to being my go-to for local shopping, theyre also eco-friendly, which is a win all around. The clothes they sell are stylish, well-made, and sustainable. Cant say enough good things about this lovely local business! And, cant wait to shop in the new location!
