        Can't say I was very impressed with the "state" of Alabama. Garbage along the highway, on three occasions I had pickup trucks pass me with garbage blowing out of the beds of their trucks. Like cover Man! All other states we drive through the highways were maintained, groomed and clean - not in Alabama - residents just don't seem to care. The Shell station had reasonably priced gas. Montgomery looked a bit run down. Idk, is Alabama on a slow recovery from hard economic times or is it always like that? No plans to return that's for sure.
