The location is great, close to shopping and some quick bites, easy access to freeway. They have shuttle to airport and train depot which is great though we didn't use it. The breakfast is okay. There were some (4) hot items, and oatmeal and tortilla. There were oranges and bananas, which is great. The service crew for breakfast did a great job restocking and cleaning. The main concern is that the building lacks proper sound proof. I assume my upstairs neighbor was going aurora watching every night, since I can hear them walking and leaving after midnight... My room had wood floors which was very clean but it didn't help damping the noise. We also had a static problem in the hotel and every press on the elevator button, door handle etc will give us a shock.

Becoming a dive hotel, continental breakfast is a joke, the pool is dangerous, customer service is why it's becoming a dive hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Monday to Thursday. Check in was not great. Did an online check-in and selected 1pm to check in, if possible. Was under no assumption that we would get an early check in. Received an email from the hotel at 12:35pm that our room was ready and to come check in. Got to the hotel a little after 1pm and inquired about early check in. Was dismissed by a person named Bonnie. I showed her the email from the hotel letting us know the room was ready, was again dismissed, told that the email was wrong and to come back in an hour. I didn't mind not being able to check in early, however, I did not enjoy the way I was talked down to and dismissed like I was in the wrong. All other staff were friendly and engaged. Bonnie not so much. Room: stayed in a 2nd floor room and the room smelled like smoked salmon the entire stay. left the windows open to air it out, but had this aroma the entire stay. Next, thin walls and noise. There was a clear gap around the door which allows lots of hallway noise and we could hear every step of the people staying above us, I imagine every floor is like that. Breakfast: breakfast was good in terms of a hot breakfast, although each day it was a choice of some type of potato, scrambled eggs, sausage (every day just a different shape), and a pancake or french toast. Decent enough. Amenitites: Last issue, the pictures of the hotel show a hot tub in the pool area. We stayed March 2024 and there is NO HOT TUB in the pool area. Pics are either outdated or the pool area was renovated to not include the hot tub. Not a big deal if we had known up front, but disappointing to find out when we go there. There is a small gym with cardio equipment and dumbells can get a good sweat. Overall, rooms and location are great for fairbanks, service and amenities were sub-par. I'd stay across the street instead of this place. Will not return.

This is definitely well below avg in hyatt. Advantages: The room is big, looks tidy, and the location is good Disadvantages: The sound insulation is quite poor, the water in the bathtub is very slow, probably because it is clogged, the sheets are not changed at all, and there are hairs and toes. The front desk didn't answer the call. There was no hairdryer in the room. The hygiene under the sink was not done at all. There were also towels discarded by the previous tenant. It feels like it looks pretty clean and tidy, and the details can't stand a little test. By the way, it seems not cheap.

I didn't know what to expect when booking a room in Fairbanks... I guess my idea of acceptable lodging is pretty low. However, this hotel was FANTASTIC! Front desk staff were super kind and accommodating. I arrived VERY early for check-in during a day when the hotel was completely sold out. I had no expectations of checking in early, but the staff were able to check me into the first available room. The room itself was very modern and cute. Nice clean finishes and fixtures. The location is great when you look at the stores around. There's several places to eat within walking distance. There's even a Barnes and Noble book store or Sportsmans Wharehouse for passing the time. The breakfast (which starts as early as 6am!!) was superb . Excellent variety and something for everyone. I'm not a pool person, and I'm definitely not a gym person, but they have those too. I would absolutely recommend staying here.
