I received a warm welcome upon entering Family Eye Care of Glendale. The staff quickly prepared me for an eye exam. The doctor was very patient and concerned about my vision. Then, J J at the OPTICAL shop provided excellent and professional care with my need for a new prescription. I highly recommend your consideration of The Family Eye Center of Glendale., and working J.J. Lamison for excellence in selecting a frame and lens for your optical needs. She is very helpful and caring as she assists you. Bob Bauer

Unfortunately you can't give 0/5 stars. The practice has gone downhill. I recommend finding a new Eye Doctor. Lots of changes happening and not telling their patients about it. Dr. Lewis is no longer there. Had to see another doctor and I didn't even sign a form which I usually do every time I go. The MA was very judgmental, especially when she was doing the tests and I would blink and she would get upset that she would have to do it all over again until I could stop blinking. Kind of hard not to blink when you have contacts in and having a big flash of white light that temporarily blinds you.

The doctor and techs are great. However, trying to call the office is frustrating because they never turn their phones on. First of all, they don't let you leave a voicemail after hours. Second, they don't turn their phones on until half an hour after they say their hours are. They have phone hours 8:00-4:30pm and they are closed for lunch 11:30-1:00pm. At least, according to their after hours recording. I call at 1:20 pm and the after hours recording comes up. So I can't get ahold of anyone. It is 8:17 am and they are STILL not on yet. At this point I will need to drive to the office to order contact lenses and make an appointment.
