Appears to do business in the best of "old fashioned" ways integrating into the local communities. Every Holiday season Mr. Pollack spends money decorating our local Royal Palms shopping center, and plays the drums on his cheerful float in our local Tempe Holiday parade. Pollack properties fly flags celebrating our history. From reputation he has repeatedly worked with communities and tenants to create a win for all--from winning community awards for improving neighborhoods, to operating his beloved break-even-at-best Tempe Cinemas, to hiring a consultant to assist his tenants with CAREs PPP applications. My husband and I are business people, we know this isn't easy. This covid year has been challenging for everyone, it would have been a perfect time for Mr. Pollack to pullback, e.g., determine decorating our local shopping center isn't a necessary expenditure. He didn't. Lights went up, bringing joy during a year when we (and his tenants) need it most. This is one small example, but it is these attitudes and the resulting decisions that determine the character and livability of our communities. We admonish businesses when they are thoughtless, let's celebrate them when they contribute. Thank you Mr. Pollack for being a positive force in our communities.
