Take NONE of this Law Groups advice. When dealing with DCS he presented everything to me as if he would never bother putting up resistance. When I offered to PAY him to be proactive, he said "It doesn't really work like that.". If this man is your public defender, ask for someone else immediately.

Matt was out to help DCS , although he was appointed to my daughter to help her get her daughter back after some unfair charges were put upon her. He wouldn't return calls, or emails, and we didn't feel that he was at all concerned for my daughter and her Childs well being. Get rid of him if he's appointed to your case right away! Before he begins to waste your precious timr getting your child back from the baby snatches!!!

I had Matthew Lara for my dependency case.. was a joke.. He "represented" me and yet still told me to give the other party my children and then fight it out over in family court, has no care in the world for the safety of your children! I fired him and got a paid lawyer. Matthew never returned phone calls or texts or emails.. always sent me emails he received weeks ago the night or even hours before court... If you get this guy as your "attorney at law" might as well kiss your case good bye... How ever, my paid Attorney - Zalena Kersting is Amazing and knows how to Represent her clients! Good luck!
