San Marin at the Civic Center

Recently completed another residence at the San Marin in March 2024. "Another" as we have completed short term rentals there several times over the past 12 + years. The location is great...very convenient for walking and other activities in and around Old Town Scottsdale. The property is very nice, clean, and well taken care of. The apt. we rented was also very nice with seemingly recent updates. Lorna and her team were a pleasure to work with. We hope to be back in the future!

The best location to live in Old Town Scottsdale! Very convenient to walk anywhere you want to go. The staff is very responsive and handles all issues promptly. Have truly enjoyed the 3 plus years I have lived here. The property manager Lorna is helpful as well as the rest of office and maintenance staff.

If there was 0 stars I would give it! The management staff is piss poor stay away from this place at all cost! Breaking my lease to get out of it asap!

Love living in the San Marin. Been here over 4 years and could not be more pleased. Maintenance is prompt. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale. I feel like I live in a resort community with pool, water features, gym, volleyball court, community center, landscaping, and an awesome little dog park installed last year. Many people are friendly and sociable. I have made friends. My sister came to visit last year and was so impressed with how close I live to shops, entertainment, art galleries, Fashion Square mall, movie theater, and restaurants. She could not believe I had 2 walk-in closets. No reason to move anywhere else. A neighbor who moved in last year, told me he looked at multiple apartments in the neighborhood, especially the newer constructions. He said they were smaller and reminded him of a motel room, not hotel room, but a motel room. I like more charm, than plain. It reminded me that I made a great decision moving to the San Marin.

If you are looking to move to the Old Town Scottsdale area, then San Marin is a great place to live. The management team and support staff are great. They are super friendly, attentive, and most importantly they always show my little dog the love she deserves. You can't beat the location; it's perfect! Just a short walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. While it may not be the newest community in the area, the units are spacious and the complex has all the amenities you could ask for: a well equipped gym, beautiful community room, pool/hot tub, volleyball court, and small dog park.
