I have lived at Ventana Apartments since 2010. I have lived in two separate apartments and had many different managers. However, each manager treated me with respect and dignity and above all they treated me as a person, just like family. I hope to live here for many more years. The apartments are big and priced efficiently for the area and maintenance takes very good care of us.

I visited Ventana in North Scottsdale. I met with the manager Ana. Ana was so kind, very professional. A great personality. Ventana apartments have one and two bedrooms with very large floor plans. They also have a townhouse floor plan as well. Very nice property. Brandi DeSanta- Valley King Properties.

I was a resident here for 3 years. Each year rent was raised very high. This last time, they tried to raise it to over 2k a month when for new residents the same units were around $1700. Thats over $400 extra a month for long term residents. I find that very sad. There is a huge turnaround rate. They offer more affordable prices to get you to move in, then after being a loyal long term resident, you feel like they want you gone. Plus we had many different issues, including bugs, old appliances that didnt work. Nothing is upgraded. Our vehicle was broken into 3 times. Management did nothing. Just very disappointed overall. Seems like all they care about is money.

the response from management is "did you really mean to post this." Yes, I did. How out of touch are you with the new people moving in and changing the awesome community we used to have? You give better incentives to new residents than to tenants who want to renew. Again tonight, 3/14, had to close the windows because it reeks of pot. So many of these positive reviews are not from people who live here, rather people who tour it once or know management. This place has gone downhill in the six years I've lived here. Every night now all I smell if I have my windows open is weed. Can't leave the windows in my apt open in the evening at all. No clue which unit it's coming from and I really don't care what they do inside their unit but I do not need to be subjected to it outside, or worse, when the smell is so strong I can smell it inside my home. The apartment management does nothing, all they do is raise the rent to ridiculous amounts to the point some great tenants left, and those moving in don't care about their neighbors. And management doesn't care, they go home at night and don't have to deal with it. Steer clear and find a classier place to live.
