They charged a deposit for key and remote....then only get half back....would not recommend, just because of the deposit ...

This place has irritated me from the start. No one ever stays here except the people who "run" it, and it's way overpriced; because the owner knows he can overcharge when weary travelers are exhausted and just need to crash... So i reluctantly give 2.5ish stars and ONLY due to the full-size refrigerator, which honestly isn't the great anyway. Staff is virtually non-existent aside from taking your money at check in, or getting back their remote and key at check out. Oh,and don't be late checking out. You'll be banned from staying there forever if you stay passed 10am, even if circumstances are beyond your control because you totaled your truck days prior and were relying on Lyft- never again But don't worry, it's not actually a loss if this happens to you. Not only are you in BFE paying double what you will at an extended stay or motel 6 in town. You get the added pleasure of living like you're in the 1950's! The rooms are completely outdated and in serious need of new furnishings. and never having caused any issues at all up until the Lyft driverS (plural) never showed (btw, thank you to uber; without you, I'd have burned to death in that parking lot) Rooms: Outdated, filthy, window a/c units that hardly work. An extremely uncomfortable place to stay. Nearby activities: Nothing except Dillar General. That and more rundown motels. Walkability: Zero. It's dangerous day or night. Period
