I have used Jackson Hewitt the past few years to file my returns. This is the first year I have had issues with them. I filed my taxes over two months ago with them, they never sent in my state return. I had to call them before they even noticed it happened. I was told they had features in place for this to not happen but it did. According to Arizona DOR they sent my taxes via direct deposit last week. But I have yet to see them. I called the office my taxes were prepared at(golf links/kolb). John Young who took the phone call kept making statements with an attitude in his voice towards me that I was an inconvenience to his day. One of the statements was 'I was in the middle of a tax return but I guess I can help you with your problem.' As well as saying 'and.....' after I was done talking. He advised me that I would be getting a check in the mail because Arizona DOR sent it by check. Which contradicts what Arizona DOR stated 15 minutes prior. I reached out to Jackson Hewitts' main customer service number who says they only see Arizona has acknowledged my refund and not sent it. No one has the same answer and everyone wants to pass the buck. I have reached out to the district manager a week ago and have yet to receive a proper follow-up and called him again today. Poor Customer Service after you have filed. Once they get you into the contract they don't care about customer service. Just my opinion/experience.
