I have a 2019 genesis G90. I took the vehicle here several times because the service people kept saying Heating system "is working properly" . The service manager was not able to return my calls i had to go in person and he assure me they were going to take care of the matter but they were not able to do anything, the worst part is lying, telling me is working when they can feel NO AIR Flowing. I told them about the strong smell of antifreeze and they were not able to fix that either. Weeks later the antifreeze odor is still there. Take your vehicle somewhere else avoid wasting time here.

Since buying our 2022 G70, weve had issue after issue and the worst part of having all these issues has sadly been the services department. From having loophole after loophole of why their warranties dont cover almost every issue that comes up, never having parts for the vehicle (even in 2022), missing a coolant leak after we asked them to specifically verify there wasnt one. Now finally taking 3 weeks to get us a part to fix our AC after promising 1wk. They scheduled us for a time another week out that needed to be rescheduled the day of because the mechanics wont have enough time before they close to get it put in. We keep having to call them to get rescheduled but get the same answer saying well call you back. Nathan, the manager?, refuses to call us back now multiple times. We keep getting new appointment promises for only weeks out. Completely and sadly unprofessional service. We were so excited with our new car and sadly the services department standard practices have changed our opinion of Genesis completely. New car buyers, beware

Purchased our new 2022 Genesis GV70 3.5TT SP in October of 2021. January 1st, 2023 went to start it and the battery popped and wouldn't start. Battery is in the rear and could not open hatch to access so had towed to dealer via Genesis Connected Services. I advised the dealer it was on the way and battery was bad on Tue, January 3rd. Special battery not readily available anywhere. Despite many calls to the Service Department and others I get no answers for several days. Finally, Rick, their CRM found my car and prodded them to get it diagnosed and repaired. Sales Manager Mike called a couple of times but had no info and didn't even know what car we were talking about. As of Saturday (Jan 7) I was told that it was NOT a bad battery and that they were in contact with Genesis for next steps. Odd, since the tow driver got the hatch open, hooked the booster to the battery and it started right up. In fact, I drove it on to the flatbed wrecker. Soon after the booster died. Tuesday, Jan 10, Rick (CRM) contacted me and they decided it was the battery. Battery to be there Thursday, they hoped. I called Thursday afternoon and they agreed to have it ready Friday AM. Friday, Jan 13, we arrive to pick up car and meet with store manager, Tim Butler. Service desk guy in skinny jeans curtly asked our name, tossed the key on the counter and handed us a stapled pile of papers, telling us, "it should be out there in the lot in the first or second row". Both of us shocked, I asked that he send somebody to show me everything was put back and what they did and serviced. He slowly and reluctantly put that into motion. Short of CRM Rick, who at least seems to get it, I don't see this being even a viable Hyundai dealer. I see zero attention to the Genesis premium brand beyond sales and got no assurance from management that any of this would change. We will be taking our Genesis elsewhere in the future.
