Last year, the man preparing our taxes, Robert Brines, demonstrated amazing patience, professionalism and understanding. In the midst of a horrible divorce, my now ex-husband and I still had to file taxes together in order to receive the earned income credit. My ex was pretty immature and rude throughout. My anxiety was so bad I thought I was going to pass out. Robert Brines (given no warning about what to expect) politely walked us through our taxes. He did the math (even the simple stuff) for us where necessary and explained everything perfectly so that I could comprehend even through my nerves. He was patient when we asked some questions multiple times. He didn't appear irritated or nervous, just super nice and helpful. It made the whole process that much easier (not to mention the fact that he was lightening fast! Not even a wait time when we arrived for our appointment). Thank you again so very much for your kindness at that rocky (to say the least) time.
