George's Little Rock

Overall a great addition to the little rock food scene! Definitely count Georges among the best Italian in the area. Did not take long to get a reservation, although others say it took a while. The atmosphere was clean, charming, and aesthetically pleasing. We ordered the caesar salad which was delicious but came in a bowl that was impossibly too small, with the house-made focaccia (a great addition to any dish here). For the mains we ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and Short Rib Bolognese, both were delicious and fresh. The Fettuccine noodles were outstanding. Now there is al dente and then just undercooked, and unfortunately the spaghetti noodles with the bolognese were just undercooked. I like to say that the Bolognese at any Italian restaurant determines if the rest of the menu is any good, and that rings true here, the sauce was very flavorful and tender. For dessert we chose the lemon steamed pudding with strawberry compote, just sweet and satisfying enough to finish off a great meal. Georges gets a solid 8.5/10 from me, and I only look forward to seeing them grow!

A little pricey, but you can definitely tell what youre getting is authentic and great quality. Looking forward to going back.
