The Commons Apartments

Hello! My friends been living at the Commons in Campbell for a few years now. I stop by her apartment every few weeks for a couple hours. I visited my friend last night and my brand new car got towed by Morris & Sons from the spot it was parked in. EVERYONE parks in that spot and nobodys car was ever towed and surely Ive never experienced this before. There is no tow sign there at all. It cost me $500 to get my brand new car back which they of course damaged it when they broke into it since it was a 4wheel drive and you have to turn off the parking button from inside the car to unlock the tires to tow it. First, I thought my car was stolen so I had to call the police to file a stollen vehicle report and while I was waiting for the police to get there, one of the neighbors who saw me crying anxiously told us that you hired Morrison & Sons to tow cars form the Commons property. Ive done my research and youre not allowed to do this when there are no tow signs and I didnt receive a prior notice that you now tow cars that park there. My car was parked there for one and a half hours only. Im reaching out to you to kindly ask to reimburse me and whoever else that you have done this to at the Commons. If you willingly reimburse me, you would save us a lot of attorney fees and time. If you deny this request, then I will have no choice but to file a lawsuit at the Santa Clara county court against you. I will knock on everyones door at the Commons to find out who else has been a victim of this racist scam and will help them with their lawsuits. Thank you so much in advance for your understanding. Wonderful community, have made lifelong friends with neighbors and a beautiful area. Horrible management and draconian rules like no doormats as well as unprofessional contractors and poor communication from the management property. This community is vibrantly decorated and as such every single one of the apartments in the block has been marked with this violation on their front door. Will be ending our stay here as soon as possible along with 5+ other tenants.

Just like every other 1 star review here, they simply didnt care about the tenants other than getting their rent every month. Lived here for 2 years. My car was damaged by the maintenance and they simply said to go through my own insurance. How unprofessional is that? Not taking any responsibility for things happened on their premises. They asked for footages when theres not even a single surveillance camera installed in their property. Thats a very bad joke to give dont you think?

Terrible and humiliating experience touring here. My girlfriend got her period during our tour and they refused to let her use the VERY obviously available bathroom. Instead they suggested that we drive to McDonalds or Starbucks then come back to resume the tour. What an absolute joke. I was truly in shock that they actually had the nerve to make such an absurd suggestion. You can only speak to them via phone during the tour despite the fact that they are present in the leasing office (with all the blinds closed). How impersonal and uncomfortable. If this is how they treat prospective tenants that they want to impress, I'm sure the real tenants are getting bottom tier treatment. I was seriously considering this complex but my terrible touring experience ruined it immediately.
