This is definitely the place to take your car. They are fast and friendly and the do good work . I got my alternator replaced, and I am pleased with the work they did . I Will be back the next time my car needs service.

Were able to see me quickly after waiting about a month to save up to pay for the service I needed. Instead of a few hours as they predicted, they were able to replace my start/stop battery in an hour and even charged me less than what was quoted so I really appreciated that. Also the staff were nice too as I sat and waited. Will definitely come back if I need any other maintenance.

As a young woman, going to a mechanic can be tough because they often take advantage of my lack of car knowledge. When I found these guys, it was such a relief to not have to worry about being overcharged or lied to. The minute I came in they were so helpful and kind. I told them that I had just been to the dealership and they claimed I had major issues with my car that would total to $12,000. I found J&E online and took it in for a second opinion. They were honest about the condition of my car and told me what I needed vs what was an over exaggeration/normal wear and tear from an older car. I was so appreciative of how easy the experience was and how reasonable the charges were. I will definitely be going back any time I need something for my car; feels great to have a place you can trust.

From the time I first called to schedule an appointment, I was amazed with how professional and understanding Emad (owner) was. He was very clear about the pricing and didn't hide any details that a lot of other stores do. He certainly understood my concerns and made sure he was doing everything to address them. Their staff works quickly and delivers on their promises. We certainly built a long term relationship and I am very much looking forward to tell all my friends about them. Thank you Emad

I recently moved to Alhambra and had no idea who to call when my 2013 Kia Optima hybrid left me stranded on the 101. Loss of power, ugly noise, then smoke. Not good. The Kia service center diagnosis: need a new engine: $14,000 (more than I paid for the car a year and a half ago). I began searching Yelp for someone in the area and came across amazing reviews for Emad and J and E. And not just a couple; hundreds and hundreds of 5-star reviews. Specific and consistent. So I took a chance. Emad confirmed the Kia diagnosis, but he came in with an estimate of less than half of what Kia wanted to charge. I just got my car back two days ago, dreading that something will go wrong again, but so far, it is running as if nothing happened. Emad asked me to bring it back in after a week or two to do a check-up and make sure everything was as it should be. I'll certainly update if there are issues, but at this point, I am more than satisfied with the work that Emad and his team did, the way that they did it, and the integrity and honesty they showed in walking me through the issues. This was a very expensive and discouraging problem, but I trust that I took it to the right person.
