The entire reception and organization team at Aster made my move into my new apartment exceptional with their warmth, efficiency and helpfulness. They always have a smile on their face and do everything to ensure a pleasant stay. Their recommendations and proactive service are always spot on, even after moving in. Toured during hard hat stages late July '23 and moved in last December after going back and forth with my decision, went with floorplan Sasha recommended. Now that I've lived here for a few months can confidently say I am happy with my choice. Aster is brand new so obviously beautiful, but I'm glad they seem to take attentiveness to keeping common areas clean and up. Maintenance is responsive and friendly. Appreciate we have onsite security in this area since there's so much foot traffic. Community staff has also been pleasant and attentive and looking forward to more community events. In general there's a lot of walkable places in the downtown area and close to the pike/shoreline village/beach front/Queen Mary. My only complaint is the hefty price tag and being charged for parking. Greystar has a monopoly in the area so it's not much better anywhere else but still can't believe how much we are all paying to live .

I spotted this place driving by. It was still being completed. I met Jonathan, who was super efficient, nice as can be and he showed me the last 1 bdrm available. Awesome!! I loved it, the amenities, the lay out - everything. I immediately paid the holding deposit and waited to move into my new home. That was January, 2024. Today, 4/3/2024, I am awaiting a refund of my deposit. Unfortunately, Aster was unable to provide the required documentation (after 2 months of phone calls, submission & resubmission (by Aster) of documents, etc) necessary to complete my application. On March 26, 2024 my application was cancelled due to Aster's action or inaction. It is a very nice place and the experience should've been super easy to facilitate. I give the place 5 stars- the process - 1 star. Why the 21 day wait for return of my deposit? I never signed a lease, although I did create a tenant profile after being invited to do so by Aster. Chris, Sasha & Karen (Jonathan is no longer there) are very nice but slow to return calls.
