Very bad service on the phone

I give them 1 star as I was acknowledged after waiting for 3 hours. Yes, 3 hours only to be humiliated by a racist bank clerk. Yes, I went to open a savings account at this branch and waited for 3 hours, 2 in the am and returned in the afternoon to wait one more. If it wasn't because I got upset and questioned the clerk I would probably had been ignored until closing time. What has me very upset is the fact that when I stopped the clerk to tell him that I had a 2400.00 check and wanted to open a savings account, his first words directed at me were +++ARE YOU LEGAL AND DO YOU HAVE A GREEN CARD++. I got sick with West Nile and Meningitis in 2014 and it took me almost 8 years to recover. I had been under my family and friends care and I was very excited about opening a savings account again. However, this person left me even more depressed. How did the world change and become so rude in 8 years. Truly,I am upset .

Im not even a member of chase bank but none the less They have the Most Beautiful bank tellers and they not all stuCK up there really friendly and helped me with my money service requests cashing checks etc. YOU GUYS AND GALS ARE AMAZING AT WHAT YOU DO!!!

If you own a small business stay FAR away from Chase Bank. Absolutely the worst service I've ever encountered. They had a question on a deposited check and accepted it, then held it and the funds without explanation for over 30 days. They sat on over $60k of the accounts' funds and would not release the money for over a month, although they admitted that everything was clear. Will close all accounts with them and warn everyone I speak to - to stay away from Chase.
