I listen to a webinar she gave about Wills and trust. She had no idea what she was talking about. She said a will doesn't go into probate which indeed they do. She didn't know what an irrevocable trust is. She was asked several times about it and wouldn't answer, she just danced around the question. If you give a webinar you should research the subject matter and know what you're talking about. If she is this uninformed and unprepared on this subject I can imagine how she is with other material.

Maybe she's just a really busy entrepreneur that needs more assistnace and better structure/organization. But they eventually got around to my file and delivered on everything. Make sure you follow up, Marie and her staff definitely have the knowledge to make it happen for you, but make sure you're in regular contact with whoever is handling your case.

I attended an event last night to support Laura Richardson for the California State Senate. I was surprised to learn that African American people make up about 9% of Los Angeles County's population, but they account for 30% of the county's homeless population. This is a significant overrepresentation, and I believe it is due to a number of factors, including:• Structural racism: African American people in Los Angeles are more likely to live in poverty, have lower incomes, and have less access to affordable housing than white people. This makes them more vulnerable to homelessness.• Discrimination: African American people in Los Angeles are more likely to be discriminated against in housing and employment, which makes it harder for them to get back on their feet once they become homeless.• Implicit bias: Even well-intentioned people may hold implicit biases against African American people, which can lead to them being treated differently in the context of homelessness services. These factors make it harder for African American people in Los Angeles to escape homelessness, and they contribute to the high rate of in the city. There are a number of things that can be done to address this issue, including:• Investing in affordable housing: This would make it easier for African American people in Los Angeles to find affordable housing, which would help to reduce homelessness.• Providing more resources to help African American people get back on their feet: This could include things like job training, financial assistance, and mental health services.• Raising awareness of implicit bias: This could help to reduce the impact of implicit bias on African American people who are experiencing homelessness.By taking these steps, we can help to reduce the overrepresentation of African American people in Los Angeles' homeless population and make the city a more equitable place for everyone. Here are some of the signs that someone may be at risk of homelessness:• Losing their job: This is one of the most common causes of homelessness. When someone loses their job, they may not be able to afford their rent or mortgage, and they may be forced to move out of their home.• Eviction: If someone is unable to pay their rent, they may be evicted from their home. This can lead to homelessness, especially if they do not have a place to stay with friends or family.• Mental health issues: People with mental health issues are more likely to experience homelessness. This is because they may have difficulty finding and keeping a job, and they may not be able to afford housing.• Substance abuse: People who abuse substances are also more likely to experience homelessness. This is because they may spend their money on drugs or alcohol instead of rent or housing.• Domestic violence: People who are experiencing domestic violence are also at risk of homelessness. This is because they may have to leave their home in order to escape their abuser, and they may not have a place to stay.If you see someone who is experiencing any of these signs, there are a few things you can do to help:• Offer your support: Let them know that you are there for them and that you want to help.• Connect them with resources: If you know of any resources that can help them, such as homeless shelters or food banks, let them know about them.• Be a listening ear: Sometimes, all someone needs is someone to listen to them and understand what they are going through. It is also important to be aware of the factors that contribute to homelessness, such as structural racism, discrimination, and implicit bias. By understanding these factors, we can help to prevent homelessness from happening in the first place. Here are some ways to prevent homelessness:• Invest in affordable housing: This would make it easier for people to find affordable housing, which would help to reduce homelessness.• Provide more resources to help people get back on their feet: This could include things like j
