The Westin Long Beach

I have never had such a bad experience at a Marriott hotel. The Westin Long Beach is nice but man is their bar area service HORRIBLE!!! Walked into the bar and asked the bartender, who wasnt doing anything, a question about ordering and he very rudely didnt even look up at me and said you can sit over there and order while half pointing to a table. My and my group of 4 people went and sat down. Waitresses walked by us several time and. Ever acknowledged us. Waited for over 20 min before we finally said something and the guy we asked said he couldnt take our order and we had to order with one of the girls, acted like he could t be bothered with us. I will never again stay at this property, we were basically ignored the entire time.

Great staff, rooms and proximity to the convention center and a lot of local restaurants and bars. Not the best spot for straight tourism, but excellent for those working in the area, that want access to local fair and not the franchise spots.

Tiffani at the front desk was amazing! She was so good with all of my needs and went above and beyond to assist our stay. She was WONDERFUL!

Visited for conference at Long Beach Convention Center. The hotel is at walking distance from the convention center. The main issue I had was with their complementary internet service. It is too too slow. It was as slow and disruptive that it reminds me the early days of my life when I first got the internet and hardly could check my emails.

The lobby area appears updated and pleasant, but the room, especially the bathroom, feels outdated and old. I was surprised by the number of drain flies I encountered during my stay. Despite its great and convenient location near the convention center, Ill likely opt for a different hotel next time.
