Hotel Mai was a phenomenal hotel to stay at. Very clean and spacious for a nice little getaway by the Long Beach shoreline. Would recommend to many others for convenience to nearby food places and tourism spots. Will come again soon!

We spent two nights in the Mai Hotel, which we chose because of the balcony rooms. First of all, the most important thing: The staff and room service were extremely friendly and competent. It is refreshing to see that the idea of service is still very important in this hotel. Email contact was always prompt and the answers were accurate. California's sun was our constant companion, and we enjoyed our stay in the modernly furnished rooms. Despite the location facing the street, Long Beach was pleasantly quiet at night. The rooms are spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable and the TV is impressively large. The bathroom was also modern and sparkling clean. The reception of the Mai Hotel scores with its uncomplicated manner. The room service also deserves praise for its excellent work. The location of the hotel is ideal - you can get to San Diego quickly with the Metro A Line and the Flixbus, and you can also reach all destinations in Long Beach quickly on foot. A highlight is the hotel's stylish rooftop terrace, which invites you to linger with numerous seating options. For breakfast you can easily find places nearby. Although we didn't use the indoor pool, spa and fitness center, they seemed very well maintained. We traveled by metro and continued our journey with the Flixbus, so we didn't use the parking facilities. However, the hotel's parking garage seemed very convenient.

Room was great, location is great for access to places to go, but can be noisy as close to metro / buses. Staff super helpful friendly.

Just got back from a stay at Hotel Mai in Long Beach and wow, what a spot! Opened up right in the heart of downtown. The place was spotless - felt like we were the first ones to ever stay in our room. We snagged a two-bedroom suite with a balcony, a living area, and a kitchen big enough to cook a family feast in. Felt just like home, but better because there was a spa. Yeah, a spa. It was like having our own private getaway, even with other guests around. The staff couldnt do enough for us, always there with a smile and ready to help. Plus, it's smack dab in the middle of everything good in Long Beach - youve got the Convention Center, the East Village Arts District, and even the Aquarium of the Pacific all a stones throw away. Honestly, can't say enough good things about this place. If you're heading to Long Beach, this is where you want to be.
