- no dining on Tue Wed - coffee is not even mediocre - no bathrobes for pool There more hotels around including Marriott brand providing much better experience

Have stayed here twice for business trips and I've enjoyed it both times. If there is one complaint I have, it's that the coffee shop in the lobby can be a challenge to actually enjoy - they only ever seem to have 1, MAYBE 2 people working there at a time which causes a long line of people in the morning trying to get their caffeine, and I have usually ended up getting coffee somewhere else. But the facilities are nice and the room itself is comfortable and clean. I look forward to my time at the JW.

Was there for a conference, with my wife, which was well accomodated by the venue. Rooms were very nice and service was excellent...especially the room staff. Good coffee from the onsite Illys and lots of places to eat nearby. Right next to Crypto dome for sports events as well. Downtown LA is not somewhere I would rush back to.

Fantastic property if you're looking for something very close to LA Live. Myra at reception and Evelyn in housekeeping were particularly fantastic Even the folks on the JW side seem to embody the Ritz-Carlton credo
