I pre paid Expedia for 1 night in Downtown LA to catch a hockey game and be close for a 6am flight. Reviewed my visa 3 weeks later only to discover a over $600.00 US charge. When I called the hotel they tell me it was for damages to a couch! We didn't even unpack our luggage and they did not call or email explaining of any damages. Just charged the card. When I called the hotel they said they have the right to charge for damages. But you need to have the decency to call the customer. When you don't respect your customers they will most definitely loose all respect in your hotel. What I am not ok with is charging a card without notification or a conversation about the said damages. How many other people are charged for damages they didn't know they were even charged for??? I am a very avid traveler and have never seen this before. Be aware of extra charges from Residence in LA!

You must pay a parking fee. Most hotels in LA charge a parking fee.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is rich. However, the parking lot is charged, but it is really a very good hotel.

Room was good. Location is good. Service up until checkout was great. We had to leave early for a flight but guest services wasnt at her best to help us checkout. Issues with the card machine. Gave us an attitude on our way out . Hope next time is better.
