Lexen Hotel - Hollywood Walk of Fame

No microwave, no ice, no bathtub, barely any tv channels, wallpaper peeling. Too expensive for so little amenities

Very close to Hollywood Walk of Fame and only 5 mins drive to Universal Studios. It is cheaper compared to other hotels nearby. But windows are not sound proof if you are sensitive to noise from the street.

We booked this room due to the close proximity to the Hollywood Bowl. Was great for that. Room was fairly clean, however the carpet seemed dirty and we found hair in the room that was not ours. Bathroom was spotless and the bed was ok in comfort. Front desk staff was eh. The daytime gal was friendly enough but the evening/overnight guy (the one who we checked in through) was acting as if we were inconveniencing him whenever we asked him anything. They do have a storage room that you can stow your luggage if you are not flying out right away and a bathroom on the 2nd floor that you can change in before you depart, so that was nice. If we ever come for another show at the hollywood bowl, we would probably stay here again.

We booked this hotel for a concert at the Hollywood bowl, and it's a very short walk to the venue. This was the only nice thing about our stay. The room is small and cramped, and it smelled awful. The bed is hard as a rock. They provide four tiny pillows on the bed, but they brought bigger ones when we asked. The smell is so off putting. I'm not sure what it could possibly be because the room looked to be clean. Rooms: Small, cramped, smell bad. Nearby activities: Close to Hollywood walk of fame, Griffith Observatory, and Hollywood Bowl. Food & drinks: None provided. Small fridge in room.
