I have had at least two outstanding experiences in employing Barak Lurie as an attorney and legal consultant. The first one demonstrated Baraks heart as well as his effectiveness when I sought his help after hearing him on the LA radio discussing his various business clients and creative but powerful resolutions of difficult cases. In this case my dear friend who was dying of cancer was being taken advantage of by an unscrupulous realtor who had forced her into a very bad contract to exclusively sell her house. Not only did Barak resolve the issue rapidly, getting the friend out of the deceptive contract, with a letter and call, avoiding an expensive and time consuming suit, but he showed such compassion for her that he checked back with me several times after that to see how she was doing and to make sure the agent could no longer affect her or others so unprofessionally and immorally. I was so impressed with Baraks high standard of personal integrity, loving care and morality (he is a man of deep faith) that I have used his sound and understanding counsel for future business conflicts and some personal ones as well. In one instant he provided me with legal advice regarding a negligent business that did harm during a home construction project and who was forcing me to pay their exorbitant fee because of their ironclad contract.
