Oak Grove Montessori

Very nice preschool. Caring teachers, quality learning toys/ activities, clean, and easy going. Its evident in our daughters time there they are introducing a good fundamental education in a fun and creative way.

Lovely school. Very flexible schedules- serve food. The teachers are all thoughtful and sweet. Thank you for taking such good care of our little one.

Our Daughter has gone to Oak Grove for about half a year now and I have nothing but glowing things to say about the staff and support they offer here.  In regards to the curriculum and school overall it's great.  It's a "Montessori" but not militant.  They have a smart approach on taking some of the best elements from a few different places.  They are also very flexible with scheduling. Which is huge for most working parents.   Added bonus - they offer meals for the kids too.  This sounds like a small thing, but trust me.  It's not. The school is a welcoming and attentive environment with a great mix of structure and autonomy for many different  ages and types of children. Our daughter has what many would call a "challenging" level of energy and determination.  She is also not always the most well behaved.  Yet the teachers her have shown great tolerance and understanding, taking the time to work with her and help her find the right path.  To teacher Linda and the entire team, thank you.  Our daughter adores you and we are very grateful to have found your school.

We loved Oak Grove Learning Montessori! Our family followed Director Linda over from our old preschool where she was our son's lead teacher. Her warm, calm and attentive demeanor fosters a welcoming, supportive and friendly environment for the children, which was especially important to our family during our transition back to pre-school after shelter-in-place due to COVID. After struggling to "pre-school-from-home", our son jumped right back into learning, showing major growth in his reading, writing, and math skills. Being back in school made things "click" for him, much of which we attribute to the patient coaching he received from Oak Grove teachers. We're also happy to report that despite the transition, our son made several new friends thanks to the help of his teachers who encouraged new relationships; I was glad to see the children happily and peacefully at play every day at pick-up. We were sad to say goodbye as we transitioned away to kindergarten this fall, but we're so grateful for the time we had at Oak Grove.
