Ate here for the first time on a Sunday and it was packed! Since its a house thats been turned into a restaurant, it has an intimate/community feel. They also have trivia nights and other events.
It was a seat yourself day and we had to order at the bar. For the price point, I wish there were staff to welcome/seat guests/take orders. We had to bus our own table because staff were very busy.
I ordered a tasty fried chicken sandwich but the French fries werent crisp. Also wish it didnt come on a hamburger bun. However, my boyfriend enjoyed his chicken and waffle dish!
Overall, wish there was more service and/or slightly cheaper prices.

Came here twice already. Both had very disappointing experiences with the service.
On my second visit, its seat yourself day but we had rezzy, so we were waiting for wait staff to come by to ask, and none did so we had to find them.
Once seated, they took our drinks order, and it was delivered quickly, but it took them almost an hour to get our food order. I was even trying to get the attention of the staff, but they won't even check on us.
Food is okay, but not great. I had the Chicken & waffles, and the waffles had more of like bread like texture.
The annoying part was when we paid. They said since we're a party of 6, they will automatically add 20% service charge which is not a problem, but upon paying, i noticed that the amount I was charged is way higher. I reviewed the receipt, and they added 45%!! I had to find around again someone to clarify the charges and void my previous payment. The server was very defensive when I was trying to explain and even showed me how she did it, and It clearly shows that they overcharged me. Imagine if I didn't even review it and just trust them.
This place can have good potential, but definitely need to improve their service as both times I am unfortunately disappointed.
