Great service, and the food was served quickly. Ordered Vietnamese Chilli Sate. Unfortunately, the chicken tasted like it was stored in the freezer for many years, and the dish I ordered happened to have only chicken with little onion. But the sauce was good. I wish they used better and fresh meat and put some vegetables in the dish. The taste of the chicken made me believe that the chicken they used was cheaper than vegetables. That's why there were no vegetables in the dish at all.

Been going here since the mid-90s. Hands down the best Vietnamese food around. Try the spicy curry snapper and beef chili sate with special rice. Flavors NEVER miss! Support this Oakland institution! They need your support! :)

The food is good, the service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is cozy. With advance notice, they seated a group of eleven in the back and we had a wonderful time. Parking: Go right at the next block for more street parking. Circle back 2 blocks for parking structures if you can't find an on street spot.
