I had a terrible time with Waikiki Dental. Upon first going, they asked me if I was interested in services beyond teeth cleanings/checkups. I mentioned a night guard due to teeth grinding as something I would consider. After looking into it, they followed up with me on how incredible my insurance was and that I had 90% coverage. I agreed and eventually paid $89 for the guard. The process itself was really bad, where they needed to attempt the molding three separate times because they continued to screw up prepping the mix. This felt like a total lack of care and experience that ended up with me choking down molding for 30 minutes as they tried and tried. A month later a bill for $351 came in the mail. When I asked them about it, they told me insurance denied my claim and that there was nothing they could do. They explained that it was my fault for not reaching out to insurance before agreeing. My issue is that there was a major lack of transparency or ownership when laying out my financial burden beforehand. I expected awareness that the coverage was only a possibility and that I should first reach out before agreeing because it could cost me hundreds, but instead, they excitedly told me how cheap it would be and that I was lucky. $440.00 is far from lucky and is a significant obligation for a night guard that was only nice to have. They should have taken the time to make me aware that this kind of thing happens with night guards and I hope in the future they do so for others

Waikiki Dental is a great dental office, everything is clean and the staff are very accommodating that makes you feel comfortable. Also with my recent visit they see to it that I am really taken care off my tooth thats been bothering me for a while. Thanks again Dr Michael N. and te staffs

I have been going to Waikiki Dental since moving to Roseville a couple of years ago. They are an Excellent Dental care office and I would NEVER consider going anywhere else!!
