We are concerned to find out here on google that there was something you wanted done differently. We can understand how not getting a close up view in the back the day of the establishment can give a shock on the large size when you are just starting a large set of locs. ..an easy fix it is to adjust the grid or parting sizes of a loc establishment if it was needed or desired. During the consultation we discussed sizing of locs and we would have loved to customize anything else about your establishment if the vision did not line up with the outcome. I had to go back and look at your pics because I was shocked at how you are describing my work! Also, I am taking note to offer the hand mirror to everyone even though my salon is 360 mirrors!! Your grid was lined up perfectly to your head and for the large size locs you wanted which yes had smaller locs to frame your face and larger in the back. Even with 20+ years licensed and as a loctition I don’t profess to know it all but what I do stand on is the quality of my work and willingness to ensure every one of my clients is satisfied. This is why I keep a calm and welcoming environment for my people coming in for their self care -it is always a safe space… So sorry that you were not satisfied and didn’t share the feedback with me directly. Another stylist will not have the same techniques as mine or even use the same products but I would never talk about another’s work, I just explain my products and techniques and keep my books full in an honest and humble way! You should definitely continue to be excited about your loc journey and the pursuit of healthy hair care in general. Lastly, I do encourage you and anyone else to establish a relationship with your stylist in order to communicate how you’d like your crown to be via call or text or during your follow up appointments (as it should be-your new stylist will thank me).
