Working with Shawn was absolutely fantastic! I recently went through a breakup with a longtime girlfriend I shared a dog with. We were able to share our dog after the break up for a time, until one day she informed me that I would never see my little dog again! Obviously I was absolutely crushed!I did some research, contacted Shawn, and within a short time we were able to carve out a shared ownership agreement for our little doggy. Shawn was responsive, strategic, clear, and most of all empathetic to this extremely emotional situation.Due to Shawn's abilities this matter was settled quickly and outside of the courtroom! Shawn was extremely helpful letting me know if there was any legal recourse I had against a previous landlord that was threatening retaliatory  actions against myself for posting a negative (although 100% truthful) Yelp review about them.  He was one of only a couple attorneys that responded to my request for advice & information on my situation.  Although I do not have a viable case against that slumlord, it was reassuring to get actual advice on what my options were from an attorney.  I greatly appreciate him taking the time to review the information I sent him & letting me know what his professional advice was about my situation!

Shawn Huston is an awesome attorney. He made the not-so-great process of going bankrupt easy. He is super professional and just an all-around nice guy. Rates are very reasonable. I'll certainly be using him again in the future.
