Jeff Wilson and his office have provided superb support, input, and guidance since my wife and I became clients 11 years ago. He and the office have been an invaluable resource for all the following: -Trusts, both revocable and irrevocable, for myself and my extended family, which included setting up all accompanying documents: financial power of attorney, healthcare directives, and wills. -Severance package review -Tenant/landlord issues involving my son during college -Rental property documents, as well as support and advice -Business entity advice prior to arbitration -Small claims dispute assistance concerning a contractors performance Not everything can be a quick fix in the legal world, and Jeff will let you know. He is straight-forward and doesnt sugar coat things. If a legal matter was too costly and didnt make sense for us to pursue, he would bring that to our attention. He often gave us information so that we could research and resolve things ourselves and thus potentially save the cost of using an attorney at all. I got Mr. Wilson's name through a legal membership I pay for. I figured I better make use of it, right? I called because I had questions about a Living Trust for my husband and me. I really didn't even know what a Living Trust or what a Will really did. Am I supposed to have one? or the other? or both? It's very confusing. I've heard how the state can take away my money or my kids if we die with no Will. I learned a lot from our conversation. Mr. Wilson spent time with me talking about our situation, how old our kids were, if we owned a home. He also explained that he thought we were too young to have a Living Trust, But he explained to me "why" and it made sense. He explained an alternative to me that will protect our kids if we die. Which of course, is our goal. I have that name written down, I just couldn't find my notes as I am writing this. Go figure! He is doing our Wills and other papers now. It is such a relief. I am happy that he explained it to me in a way that I could understand. We had a great conversation!

Divorce is difficult. Divorce is bewildering and painful, so finding a lawyer who is both professionally competent and empathetic can be challenging. However, Jeffrey T Wilson is both and I have no hesitation in recommending his services in family law. My divorce was, on paper, a straightforward one but due to my ex-wifes intransigence and stubbornness my case became very contentious and quite onerous. Despite the myriad of challenges Mr Wilson remained focused and was able to provide clear guidance and options in regards to dealing with these issues and did not waver in his support. To add further complication, my ex changed her lawyer at a critical stage in the process and retained an aggressive new counsel . However, despite this and a lot of saber rattling from her side it ultimately made absolutely no difference whatsoever and Mr. Wilsons meticulous preparation, deep understanding of my case and the law prevailed. Not only did I receive all that I was entitled to in regards to division of joint property, I also received a significant portion of my legal costs which had been increased unnecessarily by my ex. The issue of costs went to the wire and a court appearance was pending, but again Mr Wilsons approach and guidance resulted in her side backing down, agreeing to our division of costs and cancelling the court appearance. In summary I do not believe that my case would have resulted in such a positive outcome had I not engaged the services of Jeffrey T Wilson.
