Me and my girlfriends first apartment. Love the place, very spacious. What we dont love is the wait time for repairs. Our laundry has been out of commission for about 6 months and counting. They always said well get back to you in 30 days and it just never happened. Makes me not want to put in any new maintenance requests if its going to take 4+ months. With our laundry out of commission due to flooding, they decided to store their washing machine, dryer and water heater in our garage taking up about a fourth of our space. This makes it difficult to park both cars without one sticking past the red line in front. On top of that management is confusing. We had our lease renewal inspection today or at least we thought we did. We get an email giving us a 48 hour notice saying were having an inspection. Great no issues there. 48 hours comes and no one shows up. After trying to contact Mynd we finally got a hold of someone that told us our inspection hadnt been approved yet. So we were confused that if it wasnt approved why did we get an email saying we had an inspection. Would not recommend.

My experience with mynd started off great. Going through the application process they were helpful and answered questions right away. However things quickly delved into chaos and it was apparent that the reason they were so pushy is because they cant rent an apartment to save their lives. Where I should have seen issues right away. The first lease they sent didnt have my ESA and was 135$ less than the original price( but was the current advertised rent). When I asked that they add the esa they readjusted the price back up. Asked why I would not be getting the current rate and they said it was because I put in a security deposit for the higher rate. I let it go and moved in. Which was a mistake. In my time at an apartment that was quite literally my dream apartment I encountered passive aggressive emails and non responsiveness. We had issues with communication/ service requests not completed or patched to standards. For the first 4 months there was no access to mailboxes and all the residents had to get their mail from the post office. My lock on my door continuously kept breaking and I actually was locked out due to it. They sent a locksmith that took 1 week to get there (got my own and got in 1 hour later). We dealt with unhoused persons, and an undisclosed airBNB on the property. Managements response was quite literally " we arent going to do anything because that is out of our control." We were told they would be raising the fence in August to increase security but they never did. All of the residents have moved out of the complex except for one family. Whether it be Mynd letting us out of our leases to avoid conflict or just not renewing. The only person that tried to help was our Resident Manager Sarah. But she had her hands tied. Either by Mynd itself or the investor for the property. Just dont rent from them. Its a nightmare. If you do please keep detailed records of everything.

Shady company. No purchases over $500 without our permission so they decide to charge us twice for $250 so we wouldn't be able to decline. Run from this company before it's too late. Never have I worked with a company that was such a scam. Worst miserable experience.

I own a property that Mynd manages and it has been disappointing. Recently, the property needed a new dishwasher. Mynd quoted a price of around $800, with screenshots of the model at Home Depot, which I approved. Shortly after that, Mynd withdrew more than $1400, allegedly for the dishwasher from my account. I thought, "Okay, everyone makes mistakes." When I reached out to my property manager, Khadijah Cole, she could provide no explanation, nor a refund for the overcharge. She looped in someone on the maintenance team named Justin Dennis. I asked him about it, and also if he could upload proof of the warranty for the fridge. He has refused to provide an explanation or a refund, and he's also refused to send me the warranty. It's also frustrating that there's no escalation path. I asked both Justin Dennis and Khadijah Cole for their manager's contact info, and they both refused to provide it. When I spoke with a Mynd rep at their call center and asked to speak with a manager, the rep said: "I don't want to provide info that could get me fired." I've already written a complaint to the Better Business Bureau about this and will consult a lawyer about next steps. Unfortunately good PM's are hard to find, but I'd urge owners to avoid hiring Mynd.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Anything Mynd was supposed to take care of, wasn't. It's been beyond bad. Now their vendors, awesome. But Mynd needs to listen to their vendors and take accountability for their lack of everything. I feel like I shelled thousands and all they did was give me an electronic lease and that's it. Moved in, everything was dirty. Outside, weeds everywhere. Mailkey, non existent. I've had to deal with everything on my own or yell and scream to get things done. Sad part is no one has called to apologize or offer a resolution. 1 star is 11 too many. I love the place, layout and neighborhood. I signed a lease and I need a place to live so I am doing whatever I can to make it better. Mynd on the other hand, hasn't made this a pleasant experience at all. No solutions or accountability at all.
