Pat & Carrie Warren stole a priceless antique stained glass window which I left in their care. It was then crated & shipped to Carrie Warren's new house in Texas where she built a custom frame for it in her dining room. When I contacted Pat Warren, she had her trial attorney write me a threatening letter. I contacted the California Licensure Board, they were alarmed, and they said that her glass works is unlicensed to perform the services she advertised, such as sandblasting and installation. The companies which Pat Warren lists as her colleagues, such as King's Glass, are also unlicensed. To date, Pat Warren never has produced a single document of invoice for services rendered (she told me there was "nothing she could do for the window, anyway"). If you value your stained glass & would like to keep it, I suggest you go elsewhere.

1502 Glassworks is amazing. We provided an architect's rendering of the glass they wanted installed in our 1913 home. They made it perfect and the installation is beautiful.  Thank you Jeff & Carrie.  We love it!

I called last week and spoke to Jeff and let him know i had an antique fish . It Was broken asked if he could repair it.  Of course I had to bring it in and that was the best part of my day being able to see the shop and talking to him and of course he was able to fix my antique glass fish and so happy  glad  you can not tell it was repaired at all, I believe he is the best in this business.

When we purchased our townhouse in San Diego twenty years ago, it had two lovely stained glass windows (behind two regular windows.) When we replaced the outer regular window after it fell off the house last November, the window installers I hired trashed one of the stained glass windows while removing them. Had i known what I know now, i would have contacted Pat's BEFORE I had the regular windows replaced (as best practices would have been to have the stained glass removed BEFORE the other windows were installed.)So, I did a search for stained glass specialists, and found Pat's 1502 Glassworks. When I called, a REAL person answered, and his name was Jeff. That is a good start! I explained my problem and he gave me some options and indicated they could likely help! I offered to drive the windows to him to show him exactly what needed replacing. He was amenable to that and I was able to go down there right away. So far, so good. I met him after finding the place ( it's in a large garage/barn type building next to a mansion.) After speaking to him, I had confidence that Pat's could help. He would be able to make a whole new window using the broken one as a guide. He gave me an estimate on the spot to make sure i wanted to proceed (since such craftsmanship doesn't come cheap.) But those windows really make this house special, and I couldn't imagine not having them anymore. Before I left, he handed me the written estimate and a receipt for the two windows that I left in his care, one intact, and one severely compromised. The next step for him was to actually come to my house to measure the windows and eyeball the installation. We set up a date for the following week for him to drive to my house, which is a good 30 minute drive from Ocean Beach. He arrived on time and did his measurements and explained that I would receive a written estimate from Carrie within a few days. I did hear from her fairly promptly as I recall, and told her I wished to proceed. They needed a deposit of about 50% and I immediately drove that down to Jeff. He explained it would take about six weeks before he'd have it done.At the four week mark, i was getting anxious and excited. At the five week mark, I got a call from Jeff saying that the window was ready! Exciting! He just needed to find out a couple days that worked for me so he could coordinate a day that also worked for an assistant installer. He called me back with the date that worked for all of us. On installation day, he texted me as they were leaving that they were running a little late, which i really appreciated. If you haven't figured it out yet, the communication and customer service with Pat's is tops in my book!Jeff arrived 30 minutes later with his assistant Dan. We went over some logistics regarding the positioning of the windows. Once resolved, they proceeded efficiently and conscientiously. They carefully prepped their work area with drop clothes before starting. It didn't take that long. And they conscientiously and fastidiously cleaned up behind themselves (with their own shop vac.)And the windows look just amazing! I am SO thankful such a group of talented crafts people exist as do at Pat's 1502 Glassworks! And they don't just do repairs.
