B & R Accounting

It is almost a miracle that I found B & R Accounting with extended deadline coming up.  They were easy to deal with.  I love their ability to upload documents. I have cryptocurrency trades and they advised me of ways to ease getting IRS forms filled.  I was impressed that they were able to understand my last year's return; understand to carry overs and prepare a return that was patterned as if my retired CPA was involved. So I went from trying use TurboTax to having a professionally completed return in less than two weeks.  Thank you, B & R Accounting!

I'm so impressed! I learned more in a six-minute conversation with B&R over the phone than I did in hours on Google. Unlike other CPAs I'd called for help, B&R actually listened to my questions without interrupting, then gave me straightforward answers that completely resolved our issue -- all without "mansplaining" or acting like I was wasting their time. They felt trustworthy, kind, and highly knowledgeable. Although it turned out I didn't need their professional services this time, I would gladly go to B&R first in the future if I needed an accountant or tax advise. They were great!

Their website says they do book keeping and reconcile accounts for small businesses... but when I called I was told they don't provide that. Why would you have that up as one of the service you provide if you don't actually do it? And I was told for personal tax return it would be minimum $950... really? For a simple W2 tax return you're going to charge almost a thousand dollars? Right now it takes our accounts maybe an hour to complete our return... so you want to charge $1000 an hour?? NOPE. Don't recommend this place unless you have extra money to spend.

I have been using this company for my taxes for the past 3 years.  They had always done a great job.  I can't wait to stick with them for the next decade or two!!!

Superb! Helped clean up previous year mistakes, setup a new business, and have kept with them after going back to an employee. They are super warm, open, efficient, and knowledgeable! I can't recommend them enough!!
