Excellent job and car looks great. Jose was a pleasure to work with and they were patient in working with the at fault driver's insurance and mine since other driver's limits did not cover full cost of repairs. Only small complaint is they don't provide a small touch up bottle with attached brush as other body shops I have worked with do. Instead gave me pint size container with a tiny bit of paint that will dry up quickly.

Dishonest business. They upsell as much as they can get from insurance companies. I had a bad experience here a couple years ago. I won't return. Their first quote was reasonable, several hundred to fix a small broken window from vandalism. They then increased the quote, incredibly higher by $1000 or more, to match what insurance was willing to cover. Xcel advised MUCH MORE WORK  than was necessary. Then they replaced a "new" expensive 5-6 foot piece of chrome over the windows. The "new" part had visible damage. I had them put the original chrome back- it was perfect. They are dishonest.

This is the best body shop I've found in the Bay Area. I'm a perfectionist so it's difficult for any shop to meet my standards, but Xcel met them. It took a very long time to get parts (not their fault, but Tesla's), but once they arrived Xcel moved QUICK. I dropped my car off and they gave a reasonable timing estimate, yet they over delivered and had my car ready the next day. I worked with Dai who had a friendly, positive attitude every time we spoke. He sent me multiple photo updates to my phone and even had the car cleaned inside and out before pickup. They refuse to take my car even after my insurance company told me to go there and the insurance company guaranteed that they will be notified before my arrival. My car end up staying in the tow company's yard.

This shop was all around great. The quality of work is excellent. They did a thorough detail inside and out of the car after completing work. Jose was great throughout the process. He was responsive and answered all questions. Very happy with my car and will come back in the future.
