If I had written this review 10 years ago, I would have gave them 5 stars!  I think that David was excellent and was easy to work with and always met my needs.  I worked with this company for over 5 years and they did a good job!  Then a tragedy hit my life.  My husband died and I was financially strapped waiting for life insurance to kick in.  I asked for a discount on taxes, which David of course accommodated and I was grateful for his understanding. What I didn't expect was that he would then "fire me" as a client in the new year saying that he didn't think I could afford him anymore and using very disrespectful terms such as "Some of the other tax matters you have going on need some hand-holding as well".  I think the language could be kinder and not so condescending.  I can understand if we part ways due to finances, but I think that should have been a decision that I made and not one that was made for me.  So I would not recommend anyone using them as they are great when things are good, but are not helpful and somewhat disrespectful when things are not going good.

We've been working with David, Ashley and Kacie for 5 years.  GREAT experience all around.  Their customer service, responsiveness and knowledge have all been exceptional.  I have a finance background and provide financial consulting to small- and medium-sized businesses. This background makes me appreciate knowledgable tax professionals and David and team provide a solid service offering.  I did our own tax returns for years, but decided I wanted to verify I was filing accurately and doing appropriate tax planning, particularly after starting the consulting business.  David has helped with both the filings and the planning and explains tax approaches in a clear and concise manner.  Having a good tax advisor is much more than having someone who can file the returns. If I could sum it up in a couple of words, it's this...David Listens. His responses are knowledgable, thoughtful and timely.   The entire team communicates clearly whether it's a follow up request for information, tax planning thoughts or upcoming tax deadlines.  When we first decided to forgo using the do-it-yourself tax software, I wondered whether I would really get the value from a tax professional.  We considered using the service for just a year to verify we were handling the business expenses correctly and then reverting to doing it ourselves.  5 years in and each year I'm grateful for the planning and preparation assistance they provide.  I highly recommend David and the team at Curran & Associates.

I have used Curran and Associates CPAs for my tax returns for over 6 years. A firm comprising honest, ethical, and diligent people, it has been a pleasure working with them. They take customer privacy very seriously and ensure timely filing of returns with periodic reminders on what a client needs to do. These reminders dont just last through the tax season, but they are constantly in touch with their clients to remind them of their financial obligations like estimated taxes etc throughout the year. I would strongly recommend them to corporations and individuals who want a worry free tax filing and by the book tax accounting and advice. Thank you David, Ashley, and Kacie for all your help.

I have worked in the financial services field for over 40 years. Because clients of our firm often request referrals to accountants, we find those who are highly competent and responsive to be very valuable. We met David Curran through a mutual client and were extremely impressed with his knowledge and responsiveness. In fact, we hired Curran & Associates to be our company's as well as my personal accountant. When I send an email or upload a document, I get a personal acknowledgment back almost immediately. I love working with people like that! My colleagues and I recommend their services very highly.
