Better than any L&L!!! I always opt for their half bbq chicken and half chicken katsu. Prices are too bad either and the lady who seems to be the owner is very friendly. You can order online to avoid waiting.

TLDR: no promises, but just go to L&L insteadThe good: great takeout boxesRice was old, or at least tacky dry and and hard to chew. The cream cheese wontons were also old, and overly sweet (you already dip it in sweet and sour, why are you making the wontons sweet too??). The musubi has like a millimeter of spam to like 3 inches of old rice. The musubi were very cleanly wrapped though. The macaroni was old falling apart, and gritty.I prefer the short ribs at L&L, these were a bit scrawny it feels like someone stripped off the good part of the rib for their own lunch and you only get the part close to the bones. I really regret ordering so much from here when they ended up giving me yesterday's leftovers.Sorry to rant it's just that it is crazy how not one item I ordered was fresh. It's statistically improbable even, what are the chances that they had all of these leftover? I ordered two mixed platters, and 5 side dishes not one thing was fresh except maybe the fried prawn. Even if everything wasn't old all of the items had no salt in it, at all. I don't even use salt that much in my own cooking, but it has its place. Mahalo please use salt, some chefs swear by the stuff. I should add that the macaroni has decent seasoning no extra salt needed here, the noodles were just too too old.

Highly disappointed in the food I received. As a person who's come from Hawaiian heritage this has to be the worst lau lau and kalua pork I've ever had. The lau lau was extremely dry, I didn't even know you could make lau lau that dry. Kalua pork was also dry and lacked any kind of juiciness or flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for some authentic Hawaiian food because you will surely be let down. I would have rather ordered L&L if I knew this is how my food would have turned out.
