        Went there today. The fitting room staff is super friendly and helpful. However the cashier is just so rude to me. Not sure why, but it happened in 2 different stores in 2 states that I visited recently.

        Everyone here looks and sounds exactly how they look.. FAKE with the need to stay relevant. I walked in to browse and the first thing Im greeted with is witch cackling with valley girl accents. Not even a Hey, Welcome in! or any acknowledgment. Yikes. A big bit obnoxious??

        First time shopping in a physical Madewell store location. I love their jeans but was having difficulty ordering the correct size. Did some back/forth online, which was a great experience as well, but figured it was time to just visit a store while traveling to find something that fit well. John was amazing! Knew everything about the different types of jeans and how the various versions would fit me better than others. He also continuously brought me pairs to try until I found the perfect fit. He was super friendly and courteous the entire time. Employees like him make for a great shopping experience for someone who is often lost like I am. Thanks again for all of your help John!
