Great sales experience in the showroom and throughout our customization process, resulting in a sofa were vey happy with. The only negative was a promised call to schedule delivery about a week before the furniture is completed never happened. We had less than 24 hours notice via text message informing us of the impending delivery. A call to the showroom was promptly answered and provided options for rescheduling delivery. Furniture was delivered as promised within the new window, moved into location and assembled with all packaging removed. Except for the minor surprise with initial delivery schedule, we are very happy and would order again!

We had visited Ashley Home Store and Living Spaces in search of a sectional that would fit our space, but were unable to find the right couch. After visiting What a Room, we found that they could customize any of their furniture to our exact specifications. Duy helped us choose everything down to the material and dimensions. It was delivered on time as promised, and assembled with care. The only downside was that final measurements were 2 inches over what we had requested, so it was an extremely tight fit. Its understandable though that material choice and padding can add extra dimensions, so just be mindful of that when customizing your piece. Overall, great experience with the staff and customer service at What a Room!

Searching for the perfect couch had always been a long, arduous endeavor that involved pouring over online couch measurements and measuring countless couches in person in showrooms. After not being able to find a couch that would fit our space perfectly and not wanting to compromise, we decided to visit What A Room after hearing about the company online. Overall, we are extremely happy with our couch and recommend What A Room to everyone that mentions they're in the market for a couch. Below is more detail on the entire process. The showroom was very clean and all the pieces in the store were well spaced out which made it very easy to see all sides of the furniture. The employees in the showroom were very courteous and let us freely view and try out every couch without pressuring or rushing us at all. We found a design that we liked and were able to specify all the measurements such as overall length, seat depth, arm rest height and width, and leg height. We were also able to specify how many cushions for the span of the couch and most importantly we were able to specify the firmness of the bottom cushions, something that no other furniture store we visited could do. After going over all of the design specifications and choosing the material, we were able to pay with a credit card and were on our way. The employee mentioned it could take around 4 to 6 weeks for the custom couch to be delivered as it would be made to order. After about 4 weeks we received a text confirming our availability for the following Sunday for delivery. On the delivery day the crew texted that they were on their way, and were very professional and courteous throughout the delivery process. The crew unloaded the couch, removed all packaging material, and placed our new couch exactly where we wanted it. The couch was exactly as we had specified, and fit our space beautifully. The couch was free of any visible defects or shipping damage. The couch did have a bit of a smell which was strongest the first day after delivery, but completely went away after a few days. We went with the firm seat cushions and have been extremely happy with our decision, as it is very comfortable for sitting or laying down. We are aware that the cushions will soften as they break in, but the showroom has representative couches to get a good feel of how they will settle. We very highly recommend What A Room, the staff throughout the process were very patient, knowledgable, and professional. The finished couch is very high quality, and we have no complaints at all!
