DO NOT TRUST THEM. They did my taxes and I got an Audit from IRS. KBLAA did my taxes wrong and I had to pay back $10 000. Thanks got IRS were very understandable to me and knew I was victim from this tax office. KBLAA absolutly didn t care about my situation.

Horrible service. I scheduled an online appointment weeks ago, and they were 20 minutes late - after I called/emailed them during that 20 minutes to remind about our appointment! Given incorrect advice/explanation during the appointment. The worst part was that they SENT MY TAX DOCUMENT TO THE WRONG EMAIL. All of my SSN, address, phone, income, family status was in that file. I was fortunate that the wrong email was invalid, but they didn't even check the reply Gmail sent back when their email didn't go through?? They only figured it out after I called them 3 days straight to ask where was my document in the mail. Charged me $300 for this service?? I have been using their service for many years, but I'll use other service next year and let my family know to avoid this place as well.
Edit 1 after the response: Please read my whole post. The main cause of my bad review was that your employee sent my tax documents with all my personal info and SSN to the wrong email address. I was lucky that it was an invalid email, but that person didn't even bother to check the notification when the email didn't go through, so irresponsible in many levels. If that was a real email, and someone got my tax documents, how would you assure me that they wouldn't break the encrypted password and got my information? How can I trust you with my confidential information after this? That and all of the hassle to contact you even when I got an appointment, and calls to remind you to do your job after I already paid for the service.

So I have to do an update on my review with this place. Honestly I only go here the first time because of all the recommendation I heard on an online group. Also because years ago my mom listen to the radio talk show and the owner of this place would go on and answer tax questions for people who called in. I finally decided to give this place a try. Man oh man. I got screwed over so many times with my taxes. First time I did with them I didn't even realize they mess it up big time. Basically they don't allow me to come in to do my taxes in person with them. Their reason was due to covid everything will be done through email. So I don't have a very complicated tax situation...I just have a lot of w-2 and also I mentioned to them how I used to have an old tax from a few years ago that I forgot to report so they told me oh yea just email everything over. I did that and  guess what? They put the old tax information form another year onto the current year tax. I didn't know until this year they screw up my rental house information. So I started looking at the old tax and this year taxes and found they did all kind of mistakes. Called them and again they don't allow me to come in and talk. They only want me to do phone call and email. Go through all the mistakes with them by phone and they said oh yea wait a couple of months and they will do a revision of the taxes. when they finally have time to fix my taxes...the person who called me forgot everything I have told her about fixing and they screw up again and file the wrong version of the taxes. So now I have to do correction on 2 years taxes instead of just 1. -_- Be aware they have so many people doing your taxes that when you tell one person something they said they will take care of it and the next person doesn't know and screw it up.

Kevin from KBLAA came highly recommended from one of my close friends. I had opened my business in 2019 and was looking for the best accountant this area had to offer. I was offered a consultation with Kevin where he personally reviewed all of my finances and provided me with options best suited for my business and personal accounts. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and on top of all matters. Teena and Mindy are always so kind and concerned. I consider them a personal concierge when it comes to questions and concerns. I love this business because they put so much care and effort into their services especially during this pandemic. They have gone the extra mile in helping me navigate and obtain federal assistance through the PPP grants and other similar resources. Definitely a light in all the darkness in the world. Kevin is not only an accountant, but also holds a Juris Doctor so you get the most accurate, concise, and legal advice. Talk about trust, confidence, and assurance. I would highly recommend Kevin and his awesome staff to anyone looking to obtain any financial services. So many questions answered and issues resolved.
