Motel 6 Santa Ana, CA

The room was really nice. It looked newly updated. Bed was comfortable, had black out drapes and a mini fridge which is nice. The location was kind of scary. There doors open to the parking lot. There were lots of people sleeping on the lawn and at the bus stop right in front of the motel. Safety: Did not feel safe here at all. Lots of people sleeping at the bus stop and on the lawn on the other side of the fence right in front of the motel. They do not have a locking gate and most of the room doors open to the parking lot.

When we checked in the lady at the front desk was extremely kind. She made checking in very easy and quick! Our room was a little disappointing but what do you expect from a 2 star hotel. Some our our towels were a little dirty and the shower had some hair in it still. There are tons of homeless people right outside and sitting on the sidewalk and walking around the property. The pool is no longer there. We stayed with our pets and they were fine with it, however the grass area for the dogs had glass all over it, and the dog bags were gone the whole time and there was poop all over the grass.
