Sharp Archive

I work for a city and was in charge of finding a more affordable option for backing up our social media accounts. Our provider at the time increased prices insanely high so it forced us to find another solution. I found Sharp Archive and while it is very simple, it gets the job done. From our very first engagement with Sharp Archive, everything feels much better and we really like their vibe. We were shopping archiving solutions and they were on a list of options we received. When we clicked on Demo we expected it to take us to a page where we give up our email address and phone number or they try to set an appointment to be walked through a software demonstration. Every other website seems do this. We were a little surprised when a working version of Sharp Archive loaded up and we could click around and use it just as normal. It was populated with their social media accounts and it was all completely current. We really appreciated this no hassle demonstration. We were also impressed with their pricing where its pay for what you use and without signing a contract. Every other company we talked to was 2-3 times more expensive with a one year minimum contract and they wanted you to pay for the full year up front. Over all it just feels like a software built for the actual people using it. Its very usable.

Ive never been called by a CEO before! I sent in an idea through their user suggestions portal and the CEO called me within the hour. I was so impressed and stunned by this. He explained that all product suggestions go straight to him and the executive team and he wanted to make sure he understood my idea. My company switched over to Sharp Archive from another provider that we couldnt get on the phone to simply change our credit card number. Such a contrast! Its fun to feel like Im part of making a product better rather than just a user. Sounds cliche, I know. But I wanted to share this with someone.

I like how usable Sharp Archive is. My company is very low maintenance, and we just needed a software that works, and we werent looking for anything fancy. I see that other people on here have said that they like the design of it. Its actually a little too much for my taste. Too many colors. I wish there was an option to make it mostly white. But this isnt very important to me. One thing I really like is how obvious it is to use. It feels like a slip-n-slide. It moves very quick. I dont find myself clicking around trying to figure out how to do things. Its minimal in a good way. I was particularly impressed with the account set up. It took maybe five minutes to go from the first screen to seeing our accounts archived.

It just works. For our company, were just fulfilling a regulatory requirement and its not something we use more than a few times per month. For us, we just need something that worked in the background and we could get in and out of quickly. Sharp Archive is extremely usable and intuitive.
