        Huge selection of wood species and sheet goods are available so selecting wood is fun however they dont have a machine shop to help with board or sheet good dimensioning or planing

        I was in Denver for a week and stopped in to look around. I was really impressed. Huge store, great selection of lumber and really helpful, friendly staff. Good thing I don't live in Denver, I could spend a LOT of money at Austin Hardwoods! I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.

        They charge 25% restocking fee for returns. Which is a ridiculous amount for unused boards. I have no reason to shop at this store when Home Depot has been doing a great job with better selection and prices, not to mention return policy. Supporting local stores makes no sense when they don't support you.
