Best Western Hartford Hotel & Suites

We needed a place to stay between Boston and New York and luckily came across this hotel. We were greeted very warmly by Juan and given our nice clean rooms promptly. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was very clean. Upon leaving, I left the spare set of keys to our van in the room. I realized what had happened once we were in New York and called the hotel in a panic. Fortunately Juan answered the phone and assured me he had the keys and told me they would be able to mail them to me and to call the manager in the morning. The manager was so nice, took my information and told me she would mail out the keys that day. Now its just a matter of the post office doing its job. So thankful I stayed at the Best Western Hartford!

NO POOL like Expedia states. I thought (at first) it was ok for the Price considering it includes a continental hot breakfast which wasn't too bad -actually Enjoyed it. Main complaint would be Bathrooms need Updating. Room Smelt ok but Smelt weed throughout the whole main floor the entire time. People smoking Outside our window and smell came strongly right through (maybe through AC vents I dunno but it was strong). Would have preferred second floor as first is loud and not for non smokers. Area is to be desired but close to McD's & Dunkin'. Pillows and Bedding very Comfy!!! No cockroaches. Service was friendly but for $30 more we went to Hyatt and got a Huge gorgeous fully renovated suite with full kitchen, Sectional, 70" TV and a Pool/Hot Breakfast and then definitely felt this hotel is Overpriced.

Blood stain on the pull out sofa bed. Toilet clogged on arrival. Loud environment all Night. Not a good place for a good night's sleep.

Rooms: Very clean rooms, good space to walk around in. Nearby activities: Local fast food restaurants and coffee shops gas stations, highway Safety: In a very good location, quiet Walkability: It only take you minutes to get something to eat or if you just want to walk Food & drinks: Best part is that Hotel does complimentary breakfast and so on...
