Walgreens - Closed

On the app they said a skin care product I wanted was $9.50 and there was a BOGO half off sale, so $14.25 for two. This was the price for store pickup, delivery, shipping. Inside the store the same product, same size, was $13.50 for one jar. (I did not see any indication it was BOGO half off, but maybe I just missed the sign.) It makes no sense at all that it would cost a LOT more for me to go in the store, get it from the shelf and pay at the counter. How does that differ from the store pickup option in the app? Either way I'm going to the store and coming out with a product. In the end what I did was make the purchase through the app on my phone, standing right there in the store, and then watch while the cashier went to the shelf and got the two skin care items for me and put them in a bag and handed it to me. But hey if that's what it takes to get two jars for $14.25 instead of one jar for $13.50, I'll do it. Additionally, this store no longer has shopping carts for customers. It has the handbaskets with a handle and wheels attached that you can pull around like a wagon, but large items don't fit. How is the customer supposed to shop for things like packages of toilet paper, or 12 packs of soda, or large jugs of detergent, without a cart that fits them? I didn't see anyone waiting to help people out to their car with their purchases either. So they are supposed to leave these larger sized items sitting unattended on the floor while they laboriously tote them out one by one to the parking lot? This store is really not useful for anything but picking up a prescription, can of soda, pack of gum.

Friendly enough staff most days, but they never change their prices for items on the shelf and then when you get to the register they state this is how it comes up in the system so that is what they will charge. Just update your price tags. The responsibility shouldnt fall on the customer if its been pointed out multiple times.
