Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center

There was not enough parking for all customers in their parking garage. We were sent to a lot which didn't serve overnight guests. The staff were not friendly. The food this morning was almost empty with no coffee. The bed was worn at the headboard. We were very disappointed and would warn everyone away from it. **They also sent a reply saying that they wanted to talk to us about our experience. We called, had to leave a message, no response. Surprise! Horrible customer service!

Do not come here, I did not feel safe. I caught a man in my room when I came home from dinner. I came back from dinner and my key card wasnt working, it kept flashing yellow despite multiple tries. After nearly a minute, a man opened my door. At first I thought I had the wrong room then I saw my suitcase and realized it was my room. I had no idea who this man was or why he was in my room. I had just checked in four hours prior so I did not need or want housekeeping. It is my opinion, I do not have any proof, but I feel like he was there is malicious intent. If you read other one star reviews on Google you will see this is not an isolated incident. Other people have had similar experiences here and have alleged to have items stolen from their rooms and/or maintenance works coming into their room without consent. Absolutely do not stay here under any circumstances.

Spent a few nights there for a convention. Room was excellent, breakfast was great, and the location was close to the airport and near enough city transportation to go see some sites (and my convention lol). I would stay again!

We had a good time there, the staff were nice and helped any person with a question, They had a shuttle and you can go by it to Union center and take the bus or metro to go to any place in the city.
